For the fourth consecutive year a USTA/Midwest Section Super Senior Championship took place in conjunction with the USTA/Midwest USA League Tennis Mixed Doubles Sectional Championship.  Twenty-two teams from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin competed in the event.  Geared for those participants 60 years of age and above, this competition enhances that tennis truly is a ‘sport for a lifetime’.

"The teams competing in this year's USTA/Midwest USA League Tennis Mixed Doubles Sectional Championship and Super Senior Championship played some great tennis," stated USTA/Midwest USA League Tennis Coordinator Peg Hanna.  "The weekend was packed with exciting matches and plenty of team camaraderie."
