Upcoming Umpire Schools

April 24, 2006 10:26 PM

Dear Wisconsin Tennis Officials and Friends,

We have scheduled two more schools for this Spring.  Each one will start at 9:00 am with the Provisional/Sectional school.  Any official certified USTA or above may skip the morning session and arrive at 12:30 for the afternoon session of the Sectional school.

Following that will be an opportunity to take the Referee and ITA portions, if anyone is interested.

(If you've already attended your school for this year, please ignore this article!)

The Schools will be held on Saturday, May 6th - 9:00 at Fox Cities Racquet Club, Appleton  and on Sunday, May 7th at Moorland Park Tennis Club, New Berlin.

An additional session has been added for Staurday, May 27th - 9:30 at Sentry World Tennis Center, Stevens Point.  The $5 fee will be collected at the school.

To pre-register, contact Joyce Tessiatore by email: tstennis2@hotmail.com or by phone: 715-356-9395 - a $5 fee will be collected from each participant the day of the school.

Reminder:  NEW!!! - This year there is a pretest for both the Sectional Umpire and Referee School.  Please download the test from the USTA website using the link listed below.  You must complete the pretest, on the answer sheet, before attending the school.  Your total score for certification will be a combination of the pretest score and the score from the test taken at the end of the school.

Hope to hear from you soon,
Thank you,
