THINK NEW.... THINK TRI-LEVEL LEAGUES!

What is the Tri-Level League?

The Tri-Level League is a recreational league with 3 doubles positions per match played at three straight NTRP levels so friends can play together on one team but play with in their level. Example: One doubles team (same gender) of 2.5, one doubles team of 3.0 and one doubles team of 3.5 = One Tri-Level Team who plays against an opposing team of the same levels. (This would also work for singles leagues.) This could be a non-progressive program. Many new and existing players just want to play the sport of tennis but not progress to a playoff or State Tournament. However, if players want to opt-in they can do that. A State Tournament will be held for Tri-Level Singles later this year.

This format offers smaller communities the opportunity to get a team together and rejoin the sport of tennis. In larger communities, these leagues offer something different to the typical tennis player’s day. Players can play with their friends who play at different levels. This gives the clubs and/or parks and recs, a new opportunity for their members. These leagues are so flexible that scheduling can be adjusted to accommodate court availability, player’s time restraints and other unforeseen circumstances.

Teams are forming now. Start a new Tri-Level Team or join an existing one.
