Small courts, young players, big dreams and tennis programs are growing by leaps and bounds in the Wisconsin District! USTA Wisconsin District Tennis Service Representative, Erika Wentz is traveling the state to introduce Midwest Youth Team Tennis and the QuickStart tennis format to players 10 and under. QuickStart Tennis utilizes court size, equipment, and scoring that is modified for the age and size of our youngest players. For more information on QuickStart tennis format, visit USTA QuickStart.

Wisconsin District celebrates the communities that are once again offering Midwest Youth Team Tennis: Sun Prairie Tennis Association, Lodi Area Tennis Association, Oshkosh Tennis Association, Racine Community Tennis Association, Waukesha, Manitowoc-Two Rivers Tennis Association, Sheboygan County Tennis Association, Watertown Tennis Association, Western Kenosha County Tennis Association (Paris, Bristol, Wilmot, Paddock Lake).

In addition, 7 new communities will be offering Midwest Youth Team Tennis with the QuickStart Format. Welcome to Western Kenosha County Tennis Association (Kenosha), Janesville Tennis Association, Waterford, Menasha Area Youth Tennis Association, Brown County Tennis Association, Fond du Lac and Fox Valley Tennis Association.

Indoor programs are being offered at Green Bay Tennis Center and Center Court Athletic Club, Fond du Lac.

The Center Court Tennis Club in Fond du Lac, WI is excited to announce that it will be hosting a Quickstart Training Workshop on Monday, March 1 from 6-9:30pm. USPTA professional, Rick Vetter will be conducting the clinic. Cost is $10.00 per person and space is limited. This interactive workshop is for beginning tennis teachers, recreational and parten coaches and volunteers interested working with 10 and under youth and the QuickStart Tennis format. To RSVP and for more information, contact Center Court at 920-929-9150.

Wisconsin District is again a leader in the Midwest Section in participation in the 10 and under program. In fact, over 620 participants enjoyed Midwest Youth Team Tennis in 2009 and 2010 will be even greater. We hope you will join in all the fun!
