Wisconsin Tennis Association Announces 2010 Grant Opportunities

The Wisconsin Tennis Association announces the availability of grants for 2010 to build and enhance tennis programming in the state of Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Tennis Association (WTA), the governing body of all USTA tennis play in the Wisconsin District has guided Wisconsin Tennis activities for over 80 years, funding new programs and growing tennis activities.

Available grant opportunities are as follows:

•Recreation Seed Grant for park and recreation departments to start or expand their tennis programming.
•Multicultural/Diversity Seed Grant for non-profit organizations to initiate or expand programming that serves diverse populations.
•Grow the Game Grant for groups or individuals with plans for programs that will promote tennis growth.
•Community Tennis Association Start-up Grant for groups organizing new community tennis associations, to help with beginning expenses.
•Wisconsin Teaching Professional Grant
