Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison was the site for the USTA League Tennis Wisconsin State Championships where adults and seniors competed in a three-day tournament.  Players from around the state,  including La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, the Northcentral area and Northeastern League weathered the 90 degree heat and humidity, competing in over 350 matches. Sixty teams took part in the competition and several new champions were named at the conclusion of the tournament.  The following teams will advance to the USTA League Tennis Section Tournament in Indianapolis, IN August 17-19 for Adults, and August 24-26 for Seniors.
