WTA & Net Generation Coming to Summerfest

May 23, 2017 02:15 PM

The Wisconsin Tennis Association will appear at Milwaukee’s Summerfest again this year with a fun-filled, exciting tennis extravaganza.   Tennis will be featured at the Sports Zone on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9 from 12:00-4:00 PM.

The tennis event will feature short courts, practice balls, racquets and tennis fun for adults and children.  In addition, participants will enjoy “Meet the Pro and Beat the Pro”, as well as lessons, guidelines to playing the fabulous sport of tennis and prizes for participants.

NEW this year is the introduction of USTA Net Generation, the youth brand of the USTA which embraces all aspects of youth play for kids aged 5-18.  It is designed to inspire a new generation of tennis players, providers and parents.  Watch for exciting new activities and tennis fun.

Local League coordinators, players, USTA members, adults and juniors are invited to volunteer their time and expertise promoting and playing tennis at the Big Gig.  Stop by, join the fun and volunteer your time.
