Summerfest 2011 Serves Tennis

The Wisconsin Tennis Association appeared at Milwaukee’s Summerfest with a fun-filled, exciting tennis extravaganza.   Tennis was featured at the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat SportsZone with Newsradio 620 WTMJ on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3 from 12:00-4:00 PM.
The tennis event brought hundreds of children and adults playing and learning the sport of tennis on short courts with practice balls, racquets and tennis fun for all.  Participants enjoyed meet the pro and beat the pro, prizes galore and lessons and guidelines to playing the fabulous sport of tennis.
Special thanks to the many volunteers for their time, effort and expertise in delivery tennis to hundreds of participants.  Thank you to Pam Dwyer and Amy Richmond, Event Coordinators.
The Wisconsin Tennis Association offered a free racquet and We’ve Got GAME! t-shirt to Wisconsin residents ages 11 and older who joined the USTA at the event.  In addition, all kids 10 and under that joined the USTA received a FREE membership and a free We’ve Got GAME! t-shirt.
